Friendster Case Once More 2
30 August 2008

Friendster Case Once More
28 August 2008
“Friendster…
HM maybe hap chou…

A Little Fun of School Life
28 July 2008
Finally, the busyness, it's over. Can have a short rest for awhile now.
I enjoyed alot during the Hari Koko, it was quite fun and surprisingly abit crazy.
I completed the signboard, packed up all the important things such as camera, battery and memory card, and went to bed at 2.30am sharp. Wow, if you want me to K books until 2.30am, stop dreaming la, but if you call me to draw things until 2.30am, yeah no problem~ ^^
The next morning, I handed the signboard to Nick - the team leader, and let themselves do the hanging. Their stall was located at the outer corner of the row, and considered very lucky, just like last year.
After that, I went to school cooperation to see who's there and need any help or not. Kha Wai was in the class next to the cooperation doing some sort of wiring, trying to fix the sound system. Very soon, the class would be used to play a kind of bowling game, and whoever get the highest score, he/she will be bringing a carton of drinks back home, sounds cool izzit??
"Semua pelajar sesi petang sila masuk ke dewan sekarang juga..."
And the opening ceremony started with a bang, in the hall. Although it was Saturday morning, there were still alot of people came to school. One thing I remembered the most was our Headmaster, Mr.Chim caught some 'smart looking' guys that aint Air Putih Student, and said with his very low tune, "Kami tak parnah cakap bagi orang luar masuk." Well, you think he can chase all outsiders away?
Everyone started to do business, the atmosphere was already burning hot from the beginning. There were many food stalls, a place that displayed pengakap's thingy, several game stalls and lots of performances in the hall.
One stall that made the school looks like 'Pasar malam', aside from all the food stalls and game stalls, there was a stall that sold rings, earrings, and those things to wear on your body. They even tried to hung some T-shirts up for sale but they did not coz my classmate's stall was just beside them, and they were frying things that caused oily atmosphere.
I received a big nice purple earring from JunYie, and that made me became her Ji Mui... haha~
Let's talk about the game. One of the games that was quite funny was "Can You Hit Me!?" It's a disc throwing game that cost RM1. One round, you will get 3Cds and from a distance, you throw your discs towards a Teddy Bear and make it falls down. The presents are chocolate sticks and candies. It was fun and funny by looking at Kok Chun spending RM6 to hit the bear, and managed to bring some prizes back.
Cooperation's game was similiar to bowling. With a softball, a person needs to roll it over the tables and try to hit down as many bottles as he/she can. The minimum condition to play this game is to buy a bottle of drink from cooperation, mostly Pepsi Max and Revive. An Indian guy managed to score 39 at the very beginning of the day, and others were like 30, 29, 25 and lower, darn he's good! Some rich little bastard bought a bottle of Pepsi and poured out the filings, just because he only wanted to play the game. In the end, 2 of our classmates successfully get themselves to the top 15, they are Nick and Weii Zhi.
Besides, there were also 2 Haunted House this year, and they were doing business on the same row = =" The 2nd Haunted house's promoter was wearing a greenish explosive hair, and disguised himself as a clown, walking around the school, well.. it was quite attractive I'd say.
Why did I say " 2nd " ? Coz the 1st haunted house was located nearer to the field where everyone was selling and buying foods, and obviously, " 2nd " means deeper, and further compare to the 1st one.
I did not went into the Haunted House (takder minat), but after they stopped doing business, Hoe Yip and me went into it to take a look. The 'ghosts' weren't there already, but at the very last corner Hoe Yip got abit frightened by a tall guy, but when we walked closer, we only realised that was a mirror! and the image of himself, haha...
And I heard that the 2nd Haunted house earned more than the 1st haunted house. Such surprise that the 1st house which located strategically better than the 2nd house earned lesser. They earned approximately RM900 while the 2nd house earned approximately RM1000, of course, the school will tax everyone 10% of their earning (only apply to those who earned more than RM100, and of course, everyone will try their best to make fake account that shows just a little earning, or worst, deficit)
"Tactical Water Shooting Game - Your Team Needs You" was a game that allow you to play with water guns. It was a 4 on 4 game and the main objective was to capture the opposing team's flag and return it to your starting place. Zi Keong, Kent, Loon Huat and me went to the place to watch the game. It was fun looking at students playing happily inside the battlefield, they ran around shooting people crazily, played stealth and sneaked pass their enemy carelessly. Oh, each person got a water bomb at the beginning(water filled in plastic bag and tied up). They provided raincoats but all I saw were wet players coming out from the battlefield. Obviously they don't need water resistant armor.
Some little calculation:
1 player = RM3
1 team = RM12
to start a game, they need 2 teams
2 teams = RM24
one round = 3 mins
one hour = roughly 20 rounds = RM480
Business time = roughly 4 hours
How much they earned?
4 hours x RM480?
Anyway, I just heard that they earned approximately RM200 only.
We chatted many things in class today, and I found out something.
It's a surprise that a string of sotong balls mix with chicken balls that sold RM1.50 the reputation was quite nice. Maybe because they added the breadcrumb to make it crispier and look nicer... haha... Then, the sticky sweet idea that came from Shin Yee was ok too. Hundred something of sticky sweet was totally sold out. Mostly the customers came to buy on their own, only the last 3 stick that Shin Yee need to went round the school and promoted it. There are special offers for this sticky sweet, like, 1 for RM1.50, 2 for RM2.50, 3 for RM4.00, so.. I can't count out exacly how much was the sale.
The most exxagerated case was my classmate had received RM40+ FAKE COUPONS, pity them. But still, luckily they got back what they pay for, and about the RM40 fake coupons, I don't think that the school will let them claim. That's what we were talking about today, just use real money to deal la, why must the school use cheap-made coupons that can be photostate by greedy and stupid people?? This is causing so much unnecessary trouble.
I love my classmate's cheerful attitude, when the business time was over, everyone took their own coupons and claim from the school. Some people was so shocking that they received fake coupons as much as RM8, while my classmates just laugh at them...
"Hahaha, we got RM40 of fake coupons..."
Then those people immediately went silent.
Overall, it was fun. I ran here ran there, bringing my camera, snap here and there although there are not many nice photos, played PSP, talked nonsense through the speaker, bought some food not more than RM3 (the minimum amount everyone has to pay before Hari Koko). Let's see what I have eaten...
My Fav Ice Lemon Tea - Free (Thanks to 6A2 - my beloved classmates)
Delicious Home-made Coffee flavour Cookie - RM2 (by Niki Mok and her family)
Cheap Sarsi Flavoured Ice Cream - Free (Thanks to Hoe Yip)
Beautiful looking Jelly - Rm1 (Simply buy de, taste not so nice)
and a few cups of Pepsi Max from Cooperation.
Yup, that's all. I did not went into the school hall, but I can tell that inside, there were orchestra lead by Mr.Winston, shuffle and hip-hop, something like that lah.
I went back home at 1.30pm, and immediately get ready the EMCEE script for that night's ICT annual BBQ...
Abit Of Photos here:

Lintah Darah !!
12 July 2008
"Wear Charisma shirt and bring some clothes to change, oh, don't forget to bring an extra underwear too."
And after the Thursday's assembly was over, we headed to Taman Pertanian by school bus.
Everyone was like " Wah! WAh! WAH! THE BUS IS MOVING!! " I think we were too excited to go out together wtf
Chit-chatted, blew aircond and sang stupidly all the way until we reached there. The 1st thing we saw was the Flying Fox, start from the right and ends at the leftside, and a muddy lake between them.
After we threw our bags in some of those camping sites, guess what, the 1st place we visited was the toilet. Full of bugs wings on the floor. At least, there were doors and seperated 'bath rooms', no need paiseh liao~ hahaha!
Later, we attended the motivation lesson by Tuan Haji Sen(?) He's quite humorous, maybe that's why he's quite popular among motivators, that's what I heard from our counsellor larr.
We had karipop and doughnut as a simple breakfast, and continue our next mission - prepare for the upcoming challenges. Whole gang ppl followed the jurulatih and marched to the specific place. Oh dear, the 1st obstacle was 2 trunks of trees waiting for us to whatever over it. (whatever = jump, climb, fly, go through, whatever lah!) and there's mud already.
Then along the way, mud... mud... quicksand type mud... branches... leafs... jungle... swamp... lake... mud... forest... wet floor... slippery surface... deep and shallow swamp... get that picture? haha~
Then we got rope climbing, feel like as if you became spiderman with your butt facing 30something friends behind you. Some of us fell down into the quicksand type swamp, and many of us hurt our arm.
We even crouched down, crawlded across tunnels with electric wayars *ahem*, Tarzan style rope swinged, climbed up climbed down, run here run there, and the hardest part was the last stage of all 8 stages. Hoe Yip and me sacrificed to become the human elevator, hahaha~ to let them climb up to the road from the river full of " lintah darah " that suck human blood, that can go through your socks, that if you remove it forcefully, you will be very very itchy for the next one week. Mostly, everyone's heavy, but some people I lifted up was light as feather.
Luckily... luckily... luckily... no one kena that lintah darah suck blood *phew* oh wait oh wait, lintah darah is called as leech. But, bitten by jungle mosquitoes were unavoidable. After the jungle tracking, we headed for the bathrooms. It's funny that they were afraid to take away our muddy clothes full of leafs and sand, coz they were scared to see if there's leeches on their body.
You may overheard some " colorful " thingy while girls and boys' washroom is just next to each other, waaa~ *happy drooling*
After that, Flying Fox.
We wore safety belt, safety helmet and climbed a tower that height about 4~5 floors. Now I know why safety helmet is needed, because when you climbed the stairs, your head will surely knocked the stairs above you.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" I am the only one shouted like crazy, haha. Not really scared of speed and height, just shout for fun.
My arm hurts alot...
and the next day (Fri), I skipped school coz I barely raise my right arm up, where got mood to go school with condition like that *brrr*
Heard that some friends got itchy body all over, keep on scratch and scratch...
Mosquito bite marks like stars in the sky....
Scars all over the arm and legs...
And Friday night, Hoe Yip keep scratching his body from 8 to 9.30pm due to skin allergy? and we called him Gatal Man *Laughs*
Did we get motivated?? Who knows, better keep the shoes for now.

MUET
12 May 2008
At 1st, we all went to the library and waited outside for awhile and everyone started to take out their MUET note books or whatever can read de lah haih. One MUET exam cost us RM60 arr.. if can't get a minimum of band 3 then 'sai sai' lor.
Ok, what is MUET?
--------------------
Malaysian English University Test
Edited: Malaysian University Entrance Test
For what?
-----------
Some said the higher grade you get, the easier for you to go U. Some said it's a must to graduate from xx college/ U. I said, it doesn't matter to me as i'm not going to U.. mostly lol.
What's a " BAND " in MUET?
------------------------------
Well, it's like your result. There's 6BANDs totally. BAND1 is the worst and BAND6 is the English PRO. It's easy to understand, isn't it? Usually ppl aimed for BAND4, and BAND3 is consider 'pass'. BAND5 if you want to go Singapore.
Categories?
------------
There will be 4 tests. Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening.
Speaking - yeah, you open your mouth and blah blah all the way 12 minutes lol. Be natural.
Reading - Do 50 objective questions in 2 hours time.
Writing - One summary and one essay in 1.5 hours.
Listening - they will play the CD in a radio and you will listen and circle 15 answers in your paper.
When and where the exam will be?
-----------------------------------
For your information, all I know is, in a single year, there's 2 times of MUET exam but before that, remember to register to take the exam. The 1st exam was held on 6th May and 10th May while the other one will be in the end of October.
The exam, well, i will say mine. My SPEAKING exam was held in the library. We went in, waited there to be called one group by one group (of course, we choose our group members of 4 ppl on our own). Each group used up around 30 minutes, and once the 1st group went in, we were NOT ALLOWED to go toilet! oh my.. did you know that the library's air conditioner was in the maximum state in the early morning!? it's so cold inside. You won't stop shivering and started to think about the lovely toilet.
Well, i waited from 8am till 10am and it's finally my group's turn! Too bad I messed up in Task A: 'Individual talk'. Everyone was given 2 minutes to talk their point, and I only manage to think of 1 main point for that, and the worst is I forgotten to make a conclusion! Oww.. well, it's all about fast thinking or basic knowledge blah watever. We did the Task A pretty fastforward.
Now, on Task B: 'Group Discussion', I think i did it pretty well, more natural than Task A I'd say. At least some very-natural-word i used in the exam hall opened up the examinors' eyes wide wide lol. Hope they give me additional marks on that blekz. Hoe Yip (remember my previous post?) stuck in the 7th ~ 8th minutes, he got no more point to carry on and hence, he decided to make a conclusion,
" err.. can we make a conclusion now? "
Kha Wai immediately stretched out his right hand with a stop post and said,
" NO ITS TOO EARLY FOR THAT, i think that.. (blah blah) "
Here's how we sat on 6th May in the library.

Bad Min Ton
05 May 2008
Badminton! I don't really run around seriously when practicing with friends on Sundays in the old days. It's just a simple game for me, but not in our form6 badminton competition.. that day I really tied my sport shoes (with holes on both side at the little toe lol) tight tight and I really ran around seriously.. it's tiring, but I enjoyed.
My body is not as pain as I expected after the matches. Perhaps I had already played once on Thursday morning and pained my right arm lol, is this the consequence of didn't warm up beforehand... again? aiks...
Anyways, it's getting better day by day. I also thought that lots of friends wouldn't be coming to school because of the pain, but what i expect was wrong again lol, quite a number of ppl were there in school on Monday, not bad not bad~
This is my Racket. Actually it's totally spoiled but I go and renew it with new strings and handle with that purple color strip thing lol. Proudly present it here, namely "烂铁一支". wow wow wow! dun play play eh, this racket quite powerful and easy to handle ma~
I got the 2nd place in Men Double! it's happy enough for me already coz the champion was taken by Zhen Lun and Izwan who learned badminton before, at least they are really some pros among us, form6. At 1st they stunned us by 15 per 10 wth, and the 2nd match we did catch up alittlebit, like 15 per 13 lol, still lose to them but that was quite fun battling with pros.
Lastly, my prize... for 2nd place... 'thick fullscape paper' and '5566 branded ball pen'~ and it was raining at the end.
--------------------
Positive thinking is like this: A little bird is flying in the sky. You looked up and it shits in your eyes. You don't mind and you don't cry. You just thank god that cows don't fly.
